Osceola County * Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Bradley Swanson (DOB 6/14/76) in connection with the homicide that occurred on Reaves Road on April 11, 2007. Swanson is being charged with Sale & Delivery of Marijuana because detectives believe he played a role in the drug deal that led to the death of Michael Steele Kapler. Detectives recovered a substantial amount of marijuana in the vehicle where the victim was found. No suspects have been named in the incident, although detectives did arrest Kapler’s companion, Harold Kaheem Kimble on unrelated charges.
Background:
On April 11, 2007, at approximately 4:51 p.m. Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Reaves Road in reference to a suspicious incident. Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased male inside a vehicle on a dirt road off of Reaves Road. The victim appeared to have died of a gunshot wound. Initially, it did not appear to be a random act of violence. Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested the companion of the homicide victim. Harold Kaheem Kimble (DOB 10/10/76) was arrested and charged with Violation of Probation (F.S.S. 948.06) for an earlier fleeing and eluding charge and Possession of Gun by a Registered Felon (F.S.S. 790.23-1a).
