Osceola County (8/3/2007) * Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives with the Sex Offender Unit have issued a felony warrant for Carmelo Echevarria (OB 7/15/75) for failing to comply with state registration requirements. Echevarria is currently on probation for a previous grand theft charge. He was recently released from the county jail but after being released, failed to register as a sexual offender.
Echevarria is described as a black male, approximately 5’8”, 174 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on his face, numerous tattoos on his arms, chest, hand and back. Detectives do not have a last known address for Echevarria, but believe he may be in the West 192 area of Osceola County. Echevarria’s conviction dates back to 1994 when he was found guilty of attempted first degree rape of a minor in Monroe, New York.
