Detectives Investigating Burglary and Suspicious Death
Osceola County — On October 9 at approximately 2:15 a.m., Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 734 Del Ray Drive in Poinciana in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who made the emergency call and lives in the home. The victim indicated she was in the kitchen when she saw an unknown black male enter her home. When the suspect saw the victim he ran out the back door. Additional deputies, K-9 and Aviation Units set up a perimeter but were unable to locate a suspect.
After further investigation, deputies located a deceased person in a back bedroom. At this time, detectives are investigating both the occupied burglary and suspicious death incidents.
