Car Seat Safety Check Scheduled

Did you know that 4 out of 5 car seats are not installed properly?

Could yours be one of them?

All states require that children be secured in safety seats. Having that safety seat fit the child is just as important as complying with the law.

With that in mind, Florida Safe Kids will be conducting child passenger safety checks on October 27, 2007, from 11:00am – 2:00pm, at State Farm, 7401 Cypress Gardens Boulevard, Winter Haven.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office Child Passenger Safety Technician, Jennie Burton, will be on hand at the event to help provide instruction and safety tips for securing your “precious cargo.”
