Polk County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect in a Lakeland retail theft.
At approximately 1:37 am, on Thursday, October 18, 2007, a male subject entered the Circle K convenience store located at 10704, U.S. Highway 98 North in Lakeland. He left a Visa Gift card with the cashier and walked out of the store to put gas in the SUV he was driving.
He left the store without finishing the transaction. The cashier attempted to use the gift card but It was declined.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5′8″ tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds, in his late teens or early twenties. He was driving a black Jeep SUV.
