Osceola County * February 20, Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three
suspects involved in more than 30 burglaries in the Quail Ridge, Amberly Park, Quail
Park and Heritage Lakes subdivisions. In November 2007, deputies took numerous burglary
reports from residents whose incidents were similar. Burglaries were reported on
the following streets: Brewster Drive, Emerson Lane, Abiaka Drive, Paynes Prairie,
Moultrie Circle, Quail Pond, Quail Park Terrace.

In most cases, the suspects had forced their way into the home and stolen items
such as flat screen televisions and video game systems. Deputies began an investigation
and were able to identify three potential suspects. On February 18, deputies obtained
a search warrant for 2619 Walden Court. They confiscated evidence that implicates
the suspects in the burglaries. All four suspects have previous criminal histories
and were charged with multiple counts of burglary. One suspect, Joseph Diaz is
still at large.
