A retail plaza that started off as a $20 million project has grown by an additional $5 million to bring more businesses to the Pleasant Hill Road area.
The additional influx of money will bring a Walgreens drugstore and a SunTrust Bank, among others, to the Village Shops at Bellalago, which already has signed a Publix Super Markets grocery store as well as restaurants and retailers.
The retail center, which is under construction, will be built on both sides of the southern entrance of Bellalago, a 1,330-acre lakeside community on Pleasant Hill Road between Poinciana Boulevard and Reaves Road.
