Deputies Arrest Occupied Burglary Suspect

Osceola County –On December 29 at approximately 8:50 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 821 Franconville Court in Poinciana in reference to an occupied burglary. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the homeowner who indicated an unknown male entered his garage and attempted to steal a dirt bike. A witness was able to provide specific information on the vehicle the suspect used to get away in. Based on the information provided by the witness, deputies located the suspect, identified as Deonte Bankston at his residence. He was charged with Occupied Burglary and Grand Theft and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
