Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives have spoken with detectives in Paterson, New Jersey who indicate they were investigating a criminal case unrelated to Michael Rigby when they received a tip related to a possible wanted person.  The tipster stated that the possible wanted person was from Florida or Texas and  called himself “AJ” .  Police officers with a special multi-jurisdictional task force took this information and located Rigby in a public housing complex. Rigby was then taken into  custody without incident. They notified the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office last night at approximately 9:55 p.m.  We are working with the Paterson Police Department to extradite him to Florida and Rigby will go before a judge in Paterson.  I do not have a specific time frame on when this will occur.
Please call the Paterson Police Department if you have specific questions relating to his capture or court appearance.  I will update everyone if I receive more information on his extradition.

Osceola County — Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for Daniel Loggins, 16 who fled from deputies while in custody.
