Polk County Sheriff’s Robbery detectives seeking information in armed robbery

Polk County Sheriff’s Robbery detectives are seeking information on the whereabouts of a known suspect wanted in an armed robbery.
Around 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2008, several people were playing a game of dominos at 745 Pineville Road in Lakeland, Florida, with Sir-Alton Young, DOB 5/7/76, when he pulled a firearm out of the waistband of his pants and demanded to “win as many games as the other players had.” When the victims fled to a nearby car, he followed them and again demanded money from them, pointing the handgun at them. The victims fled on foot, and reported hearing gunshots as they fled.
Sir-Alton Young has been positively identified as the armed suspect in this case. His last known address is 2215 Honeycomb Lane in Lakeland, FL. He is described as a black male with dreadlocks, 5’6”, 150 lbs., and he has a warrant for his arrest for Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery, and Armed Burglary. Sir-AltonYoung is to be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
